Our Roots

I started crafting my own drinking vinegars over ten years ago, after years of constant indigestion and heartburn, not to mention and a whole lot of Tums and Zantec. I discovered BRAGG’S Apple Cider Vinegar as a solution to my digestive issues, but couldn’t stomach the flavor or acidic intensity. I began mixing it with lemon juice, ginger, honey and water, and from there began experimenting with different combinations of locally grown and foraged fruits, herbs, and spices. Being able to get my daily ACV intake helped clear up years of digestive issues and assisted in losing 80 lbs within a year and a half.

 

Our SHRUBS

My fermented whole fruit drinking vinegar concentrates, bitters, fire Cider and health elixirs are made with fruit and herbs all lovingly grown and sourced on Sauvie Island. I have a tiny orchard, grow other fruit and herbs and work with neighboring small farms and growers on the Island to bring you the freshest quality ingredients from the largest farming community within Multnomah county. These zero proof mixers and elixirs can be combined with sparkling water for a delicious and healthy non-alcoholic option to cocktails, but can still be used to add complex notes that are the perfect combination of tart, tangy and just a touch sweet to conventional cocktails.
